Hey so my two week crash course in language is now over! It was actually not to bad, I can introduce myself and do greetings and ask some simple questions. So right now I am currently living in Rustenburg which is about 5 hours from Hartswater my final destination. I am leaving Sunday for Hartswater, but I wont actually move into my place until Tuesday, because that is when all my furnishings will arrive. Hopefully with in the next two weeks I will start to get training in what i am going to be teaching, and start teaching! I have had a great time in Rustenburg my team that lives here has been great at helping me get adjusted and making me feel part of team. We went on a safari last week and it was great! I have pretty much all the crazy animals of Africa except for the elephants and giraffes. Thank you for all the prayers! I will write again soon!

I had full confidence that I would see theses pictures on your blog! They are phenomenal! I'm excited for you and sorry you missed the elephants, haha! I'm lifting you up now that you will be able to use the new language you have daily and continue to learn more and more as you build relationships with the locals.
Thanks for the update, Paul. Hope the move goes smoothly and that you can get in the classroom quickly.

Hey Paul..You're Safari pictures look awesome! What a photographer. You said in your e-mail to update you on what all was going on--well here goes.... I went on a Safari today also. I saw a few things you didn't though. I came up close to a pair of lepoard(pants), but decided they were a little to wild for me. I also saw a Zebra(top), it was a small one, but still real cute. Then, as i was checking everything else out, I spied a Snake(skin belt)!! WOW, I passed it right up b/c it was a strange color!! Maybe when you get home you can go on the Safari that I went on, it obviously has a whole Gallari(a) of wild animals that you may not get to see in Africa!! Of course you can't go on the weekends after 3:00pm, b/c they don't let the really wild animals in after that time. Although they do say it is safer on those times.
Anyway--everything else is pretty boring compared to our Safari's. I went to your cousin Kellys shower today with your Mom, Jill, Clayton, Mindy and Jayden. She is due in about 10 weeks and is having a boy who's name will be Braden. OK...better go for now...way too much excitment in one blog!!
Take Care..Luv ya much..Remembering you in prayer!

Hey - this is your supervisor - glad to see you online - I know that you have been taken care of in R-burg. You will have fun in Taung area - Lyndee is great and Andrew Murray will be fun to work with. See me at my blog - janzfamily.blogspot.com.
Hi Paul,
It sounds like good things are happening for you. The pictures are great...I can only imagine how much fun seeing that in person and not in the zoo must be. What great experiences you'll have to share forever. I've never blogged before so this is quite the experience from my desk! Be safe always...
Love, Dottye
Your mom just showed me your pictures on facebook, they look really scary. Be careful. Just got home from church. Going to be l00 degrees here. Talk more later.

Hey Paul,
I saw your south african experience updates to be found on blogspot in the church's newsletter and wanted to see what was up. Those are great pictures. It's cool to see how the Lord is using you in a different country, not to mention, where no one speaks any familiar languages! That's insane! Well, goodluck buddy. I'll add you to my prayer list.
Hi Paul,
Enjoyed seeing the pictures from
your safari. Hope you are settled
in your new place. Some of the
WMU women went to the Jesus Church
this afternoon. It is really looking great. We hope to be able
to help cleaning and dusting before
the first service.
Blessings and prayers, Marlene
