Hey all have had a CrAzY first week! This is the first time I have been on the internet in like 5 days. This past weekend I stayed in the village which is by most of our means roughing it! :) I learned a lot about how village life works, I was introduced to the chief and had to preach at a service on Sunday using a translator! oh yea I was told I had to preach 10 minutes before hand :). It went ok I just talked about what I had read the night before In Matthew, It was the parable of the weeds. Oh yes I also wasnt able to shower the whole time I was there :) ..... Currently I'm living in Rustenburg in a little apartment, but that is only for the next two weeks while I'm doing language learning. Early in August I will be moving about five hours west to a city called Hartswater, where I will begin my learning and teaching in schools. My work is going to be focused in an area called Pampierstad, which means paper city. Please pray for my transition to hartswater that it will go smooth and that God would lead me to the people I need to minister too. Also Pray that God would give me friends down there as well, I have one joureygirl that I will work with some but she is leaving in December. There is also a great family there, that will serve as my day to day supervisor. Thanks for all the prayers and support I miss you all and look forward to hear what is going on with you all!!

Preacher Paul! I love it! Glad you took the time to have QT with Dad the night before so you would be prepared. Did you do the motions with the sowing seeds??? Elbert would be proud!
I'm proud of you buddy and excited that you are loving it! Take some pictures!

Hey, Paul--Preaching with ten minutes notice, huh? Didn't that happen to you in Antigua? Guess God wants you always ready! Keep up the good work!
Hi. I am at your mom's and we just read your blog. Good to hear from you. Sounds like you are getting it together.

Hey, Paul:
Looks like God wants you to "preach the word; be urgent in season and out of season" II Timothy 4:2!
Hi Paul,
Enjoyed hearing about your activities. Will share this with
the women at church on Thursday
and we will be praying for you.
Way to go ... preaching after 10 minutes notice!! Very nice!! Oh, and I think being deprived of a shower for several days is the initiation for all new missionaries (I just went through the same thing this past week while we were at camp). Good times! I'll be praying for the transition. :-)
Great job, Paul!
I hope your second week has gone well. Did you ever get your luggage?
Keep up the good work. We are praying for you!
In Christ, Edna Speidel
